Anhui Zhong-Ao Institute of Technology

Anhui Zhong-Ao Institute of Technology, a state-owned Institute affiliated with Anhui Science and Technology Department, was founded in 1998, approved by Anhui provincial government and provincial Commission of Education.

The Institute is located in Hefei – capital city of Anhui province with convenient transportation. There are over 3400 full-time students studying here and the number of teaching staff is 180, including 3-5 foreign teachers.

Now, the Institute consists of three academic departments with a total of 25 majors, including three provincially featured majors, which are Tourism Management, Software Technology and Business English. The three academic departments are: the Management Department, the Department of Information Technology and Media Arts, the Department of International Business. The 25 majors can be briefly classified into the following seven categories: Electronic Information, Media Arts, Finance and Management, Culture and Education, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Transportation and civil engineering. These years, the employment rate of the graduates reaches over 90%, according to the statistics of the provincial Commission of Education.

The Institute is the only IELTS Test Centre in Anhui Province jointly authorized by British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia and Cambridge English Language Assessment.

The institute is also the only test center for J. TEST which is an exam attempting to gauge Japanese language proficiency of non-native speakers, authorized by the Association for Testing Japanese Proficiency.

Strengthening the international cooperation and enhancing the level of international education exchange is an important development strategy of this Institute. As the first vocational Institute conducting international cooperation in Anhui Province, the institute has established cooperative relationships with more than 9 universities and colleges in the USA, Australia, the UK, Germany,Japan, Thailand and Korea etc.
